We're always on the lookout for "quality" signs on our trips - but didn't have many (that we could read) from this trip. We appreciated this one however - in the "Thai Village" at the Rose Garden Resort's elephant area.
In the morning on Day 4 we actually had two arranged tours as part of our package: a tour of Jim Thompson's house (an american who popularized Thai silk and was a strong supporter of Thai arts and architecture) - and the Vimanmek Palace, a golden teak palace of the Thai royal family.
More interesting to us were the Wats we visited once we were on our own for the afternoon: Wat Pho and Wat Arun.
