With our “yuppie dream house” we’ve decided (or maybe I’ve persuaded?) that an upgrades to our Kitchen Table and Sofa/Loveseat sets are in order.
The new first floor will have the kitchen/dining/living room flowing left to right across the back of the house – with no dividing walls… So our current more casual kitchen table and chairs will be phased out for something that is a bit more formal – and can seat more than 4 people without breaking out the folding chairs!
The good news about furniture shopping: the internet can be your friend!
Not sure who Brian emailed – but some wholesale furniture connection which then referred our request – Kincaid Gathering House collection – on to their network. We’ve been just sitting back and letting the furniture wholesales compete for our business! NICE!
The great part: the prices are $700 lower than what we were quoted at a local shop here in the Springs – and they can hold off delivery until our house is ready (or at least closer).
The dining table and chairs (6 regular – 2 with arms) are what we’re shopping for currently… Though we have two tables for the eat-in kitchen island on our list as well – we think we’ll wait on those until we actually get in our house… or get a better feel for the close date. Ditto for the sofa sets too.
