Heathrow Terminal 4 is like the result of breeding a strip mall with an airport – but put in half the space. Check out the bustling passengers passing around the stores (placed in the middle of the terminal walkway) with their bags and baggage carts…. They could work on their people flow a bit – and throw in a map of all the store locations… but all in all not a bad people watching stop for a layover!
I’ve decided that in England the Euro is useless… Prices aren’t posted in them, and when you pay in Euros you get back Pounds – so you lose both ways (on the Euro price and the Pound exchange rate!) No wonder British Airways does a change collection for Unicef on all their flights…. I’m sure there are plenty of other layover travelers who have their Euros ready for their final destination who make the same mistake I did…
